Haiti

After hearing about the earthquake in Haiti, Ellie's teacher quickly put together a fundraiser. In about a week, her class had raised $2400 and made 85 family hygiene kits. What an awesome experience for these kids! (ell's in the front in the yellow shirt, boxes of hygiene kits to the side)

So proud of Ellie and her whole class. Being aware of those around us in need at such a young age is great. She will never forget this, and will probably notice other situations and want to help. What a great teacher she has! Also, I didn't mention the hall tree. It looks wonderful there! Can't wait to see it.
Good job you two!!
